Our Story

Recently, The Desert Cats featuring Sylvia Quintana winner of the 2023 McCallum Theater Open Call Talent contest, earning both the Audience Favorite Award and the Grand Prize for Best Talent of 2023. This recognition is a testament to the band's exceptional musicianship and ability to captivate audiences with their performances.
The Desert Cats consists of - of course Sylvia Quintana vocalist, Doug Carr on Lead Guitar and Randy Cookston on Bass. Collectively, the band has over 100 years of Rock and Roll playing experience, making them a force to be reckoned with in the music scene.
